From The Tenderloins to Comedy Icon

Improvisational comedian, producer, and actor Joe Gatto has established himself as a household name in the world of comedy. Widely recognized for his work on the hit television series Impractical Jokers and The Misery Index, Gatto is celebrated for his sharp wit and infectious, feel-good energy.

When Joe Gatto joined his high school improvisation club alongside Sal Vulcano, Brian Quinn, and James Murray, he was beginning a journey that would eventually make him a household name. Years later, the group reunited to refine their craft, leading to the 1998 formation of the comedy troupe The Tenderloins.

The group initially built a massive digital following through their comedy sketches before winning NBC's It's Your Show competition in 2007. This victory, along with Gatto’s transition from a career in accounting to full-time entertainment, marked the start of a prolific comedy career that has spanned television and live stages worldwide.
