Fabulous concert in Birmingham
I flew to Birmingham for the O’Jays concert Last Stop on the Love Train, last concert of 2023. Got a photo with Darren Daughty, lead guitarist as left the concert. Exceptional
Although the O'Jays only played for an hour they were spectacular. From the moment they appeared on stage they did not stop. Singing, dancing, and engaging the crowd to the maximum, they were amazing! Hard to believe they are all in their seventies. Their vocals are still superb and they are the epitome of pure soul. All the people I met were absolutely pleased with their performance. It's a shame there is such a terrible review- must have been written by one of the very few who did not get up and join the Love Train!
It was my first time seeing the O'Jays and they did not disappoint- exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!
