Two women are caught up in murder in 1920s Chicago in this sizzling, stylish and timeless musical that first debuted on Broadway in 1975. Created by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, Chicago is one of the world's best-loved musicals and returns once more to grace The Muny's stage by popular demand!
The story focuses on Roxie Hart, a young dancer with stars in her eyes who works on Chicago's infamous South Side. She engages in an affair that ends in murder and so begins a thrilling tale of corruption and crimes of passion, all set to a dazzling and unforgettable soundtrack.
