Born in London in 1963 George Michael first found fame in the 1980's alongside Andrew Ridgeley in Wham! Known for their outlandish costumes and catchy tunes, they soon conquered the charts, opening the door for Michael to embark on an acclaimed solo career. With songwriting that pushed boundaries and the voice of an angel, Michael is fondly remembered as one of the best-selling performers of all time, alongside his tireless activism and charity work for issues including HIV/AIDS research and supporting the LGBT community.
