David will play the role of Lance, Nurse's love interest, and begins performances with the Broadway cast on 5 March. About David Bedella

David Bedella, who originated the character Lance in both the 2019 Manchester production and in the West End, earning an Olivier Award for his portrayal, will temporarily replace Tony winner Paulo Szot in the Broadway production. David is also known for his Olivier award-winning roles in Jerry Springer: The Opera and In The Heights.
