Pink Martini

March 21, 2016

Pink Martini are the brain child of Thomas Lauderdale, who in the early 1990's was thinking of running for Mayoral office. But he slowly became frustrated and fascinated by the musical entertainment during political society events. So he formed Pink Martini to address this and make music that appeals to everyone, from liberals to conservatives, all over the world. Over 20 years later, they're still going strong!

Dave Rawlings Machine

April 18, 2016

Usually engaged as producer to Old Crow Medicine Show and Ryan Adams and as long-time musical collaborator to Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings has managed to clear some time in his schedule to record a new record, Nashville Obsolete: full of vintage fingerpicking, beautiful harmonies and old school country vibes.

See Jane Sing: Jane Lynch

June 14, 2016

From her stand-up beginnings at Chicago's world famous Steppenwolf Theatre, Jane Lynch has become one of America's most respected comedy performers. For See Jane Sing, she takes on the world of cabaret. Celebrating the form, whilst simultaneously poking a bit of fun at it, the show is a frothy mixture of song and dance numbers, punctuated with skits and anecdotes.

Gordon Lightfoot

June 19, 2016

Bob Dylan calls Gordon Lightfoot one of his favourite songwriters - a fine tribute to a legacy that is still being written. In a career spanning nearly 40 years, the Canadian folk legend has recorded over 200 songs, written many more, and influenced the sound of so many highly successful artists.
